I think that's right and Atlanta 2 was proof of how successful SW and Barcamp have been in building the local community.
Learning was the best part of my experience at SW. I learned alot about startups: technology, legal and otherwise.

I agree that community is the number one goal. My personal experience has lessons in Collaboration coming in a close second.

Saw this on CNN, It seems 2007 was busy for you guys but 2008 events we're pretty flat...
With the current state of the economy, I hope to see more of these for 2009, especially around Los Angeles
